Sewailo Amateur Championship
Our annual Sewailo Amateur Championship is scheduled for Monday, November 2nd! The format is 18 holes of individual stroke play. Male and female participants with a current ghin handicap are eligible to play. Flights will be determined by handicap including a Championship, First, First Flight Senior, Second, Second Flight Senior, Super Senior, and Ladies Championship flight. Men who are 55 years of age or older can sign up to play in a Senior Flight. The entry fee is $140 which includes greens fee, cart, range balls, box lunch, and prize fund. The field size is limited and registration deadline is Sunday, October 18th.

ENTRY FEE: $140 – Includes greens fee, cart, range balls, box lunch, and prize fund.
ELIGIBILITY: Male and female participants with a GHIN handicap. Mandatory to enter GHIN number at the time of signup. Current November 2026 USGA/GHIN handicap will be used.
FORMAT: 18 holes of individual stroke play. USGA rules apply except where local rules prevail.
FLIGHTS: Determined by handicap.
- Onyx tee 7,309 yards – Championship Flight - Gross prizes only
- Ruby tee 6,825 yards – 1st Flight - Gross and Net prizes within the flight
- Jade tee 6,345 – 1st Flight Senior – Gross and Net prizes within the flight
- Jade tee 6,345 yards – 2nd Flight - Gross and Net prizes within the flight
- Opal tee 5,861 yards – 2nd Flight Senior – Gross and Net prizes within the flight
- Opal tee 5,861 yards – Super Senior - 70 plus – Gross and Net prizes within the flight
- Copper tee 5,209 yards – Ladies Championship - Gross and Net prizes within the flight
SENIORS: 55 years of age or older. Participants must designate themselves as a SENIOR at the time of registration. Super seniors are 70 years of age or older.
TOURNAMENT TEE TIMES: Starting times will start at 9:00 am off the #1 tee. In the event of a tie in the Men’s or Ladies championship flight, a hole-by-hole playoff will begin following the conclusion of play to determine the low gross winner only of each flight.
PAIRINGS: Tournament pairings will be available by the end of the day on Thursday, October 29tth. Pairings will be emailed and posted in the golf shop.
PAYOUTS: Breakdown of payouts are based on the number of participants in each flight. Gift cards will be paid out immediately to winners in the flights. Gift cards will not be mailed out.
GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: GPS and range finders are permitted for use during the round.
GOLF CART USE: Participant’s use of golf carts is mandatory during the competition, and cart rental fee is covered by the tournament entry fee. Maximum of two carts per group will be allowed.
* NO caddies or riders allowed due to very limited cart availability. Spectator carts are NOT permitted.
WITHDRAW POLICY: Before the Entry Deadline on October 18, 2026, players may withdraw from the tournament and receive a full refund.
